Mattie is an emerging guitar talent based in the west of Ireland. Heavily influenced by jazz, blues and fusion, these are expressed in his style of playing today.
Mattie began his musical journey at the age of 11, teaching himself to play by listening to recordings of jazz guitar legends. He continued to follow his musical aspirations into his mid-twenties, joining and playing regularly with a number of bands and other Irish acts where he is known for his unique style of playing.
Mattie performs with bands across Ireland, but has also played in countries across the world from Europe and the Middle East, to the US.
