Iksan Skuter, a musician from Indonesia, was born in 1981. As one of the Indie musicians who frequently talked about issues such as politics and philosophical aspects of life, he was unconcerned about the genre of music he represented; for him, the role of musicians simply to be productive. His musical spirit was evident since middle school, but it fully matured during his college years at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Brawijaya, and keeps going to this day.

Iksan debuted in the music industry in 2006 with the white band, which released three albums. However, his journey with the Putih band in Jakarta must end so that he returns to Malang, Java.

Later, it was discovered that he was uncomfortable in Jakarta, as shown by the song he wrote, “Ku Kira Jakarta,” how to obtain the inner pressure of the artist Iksan skuter, which depicted the harsh realities of Jakarta. However, he also discussed love and hope. Especially after having a child, the artist’s inner side as the parent of the battle of the process of life in battling for his artistic idealism was poured through the song “Jangan Seperti Bapak, Doakan Ayah and Untuk Gadisku.”

Aside from being prominent in the country’s music scene, Iksan is recognized for writing books; his debut book, titled ‘confused’, was launched on February 14, 2020, Valentine’s Day. The book contains an anthology of lyrics composed in songs. He also discussed the stories that inspired the creative process of songwriting. According to Iksan, this confused novel feels appropriate to communicate his feelings.
